I with you, I think Palhares is too strong for him. Plus, although weidman beat Maia, I didn't think it was very impressive, at least not impressive enough to make me pick him over Palhares

I wouldn't say that applies here with him cutting 32 pounds in 11 days after taking the fight on short notice.

It might just be me jumping on the Weidman band wagon but I'd pick him over Palhares with a full training camp in an mma match. And in all honesty Palhares' biggest mma win is against Dan Miller. Which is awesome, don't get me wrong but he's still VERY unproven in my opinion.

im always tempted to pick wrestlers, but in this case i did not

palhares only has 2 ufc losses, one to hendo over 3 years ago & the marquardt fight when he forgot that fighters arent supposed to talk to the referees during the fight & he got tkod

i picked palhares in this one, but def didnt think he was going to run away w/ it

I'm quite the opposite. I am the driver and vehicle owner of the Paul Harris bandwagon. I think him with a clear head could beat 99% of the middle weights out there. I think he has a distinct advantage over wrestlers because of his low stance and his ability to rip limbs off at any given moment. I suppose he is still unproven against top mws but I would pick him in any match up.
