Not happy with this season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF)? Neither is UFC President Dana White.

One of the early criticisms directed at TUF 13 was the decision to select 16 contestants for the Spike TV reality show without requiring them to fight for a final spot in the competition.

In seasons past, the premiere would feature 32 aspiring fighters slugging it out for the right to bunk at the TUF house. That, according to White, was a luxury they couldn't afford after the cable television network reduced the number of episodes for this season.

Glad to see they're learning from their mistakes.

They shoulda had Dan Stittgen. Also, I agree with the earlier poster who brought up oversaturation and limiting to once a year.

and maybe they will pick coaches who arent dull when put together. or better yet, use coaches who have more than 20 combined fights....especially more than 6 fights to his name

agreed.. maybe 1 season a year but more episodes.. i'd kinda like to see some of the team challenges they had in season 1 and 2.. it was interesting to see that TUF completely got rid of the team element beyond bragging rights for coaches. the show needs soemthign to shake things up!! wake up DANA

I'm cool with over-saturation at it's current level as long as once the show is off of SPIKE, the UFC can edit it the way they want it to be rather than the soap opera SPIKE turns it into. They can always funnel the fighters into Strikeforce.

I have a feeling that once the UFC has the control over the editing we'll see a LOT more of the actual training and all of the fights.rather than 45 minutes of who peed in whose locker.

the funny thing s they learned the "lesson" before and they juist ignored it... they will prolly screw up TUF 15
