It was reported awhile ago that this fight was never going to take place. At least a week and a half ago.

I watched it and dont think that was where this thing is going to let off. I think they are building up to something? I dont think ufc would air such a dumb ass 1.5 hour show just to leave you thinking WTF?

Why show it? To punk Tito. He looks like a little bitch now, afraid to be exposed on a contracted fight he asked for. I knew the fight wasn't happening, so I enjoyed it for what it was, a diary of Dana White training. I was impressed on those last two sparring sessions, he did pretty well. Loved Chuck and Randy picking Dana to win, and Chuck saying all he has to do is throw hands to make him start blocking and cornering himself.

I guess because Dana thinks anything that has the UFC name on it will be watched by people. Shit, I knew they weren't going to fight and I still watched it just to see how pissed Dana was going to be at the end. And boy was he pissed. If Tito loses to Rashad, I look for him to no longer be with the UFC. Anyone know how many fights Tito has on his contract?

If anything it was good to see Dana train and get back into shape. It did make Tito look like a punk yet it was lose lose for him. Anyways it probably shouldn't have been an hour and a half but it did do one thing.
it made Alamo look like more of a dick in perfct timing with his horrible Diaz decision, he is quite the douche.

Nice one, Dana. You created an hour and a 1/2 program where you basically drag Tito"Huntington Beach Has-Been" Ortiz through the mud in front of cable TV. Whats that you said about Tito running his mouth and making a spectacle out of the whole thing?

BTW, Vince McMahon has been doing this gig for a while and would probably fight you, if your interested.

I just watched this show here on the west coast and I already knew that no fight was going to take place. It was still a huge mistake for Dana to let this air as it shows him behaving like an amateur businessman in the face of an aggravated Nevada State Athletic Commission.

They basically ended up telling Dana that they don't want anything more to do with this nonsense and they don't want to hear about him fighting Tito anywhere outside of Nevada.

Bad for all involved. Makes MMA/Boxing look as though it is run by a bunch of meatheads.

I dont think this damaged anyones reputation but Tito's, but Dana didnt have a choice in whether or not to show the documentary, because it had already been completed before the fight didnt happen, so Spike wouldnt have let it not be aired, because their investment would have gone to a complete waste.

Tito vs Dana was a joke before that show even started.

I don't think "Dana White: The Movie" really damaged Tito's reputation. They explained that it was a lose lose situation for Tito. A lot of people say they'd like to fight there boss, but when an oppurtunity arises will most people actually jump on it? Dana White and the NSAC were the only people taking this fight seriously. What chance did Dana actually have training or not? Tito fights to pay his bills. If Dana doesn't sell enough tickets, his new ferrari may have to wait until next year. If Tito Ortiz can't beat his opponent into submission then he's got to finish filling out that application to Home Depot.

Anyway if they were to fight I think it would go to decision with Tito winning, but a close decision not a complete 3 round beating like most people think would've happend. I was getting annoyed about how much Dana was cursing, dang I didn't know he cursed that much!! Everyother word out his mouth was f**k.

I watched a little more than the first half of it. I don' tthink it damaged Tito's rep., but rather looked like it was trying to make Dana look like a good guy. That was what I got from the first 35 mins. or so.

i think the point most people are missing is that tito asked for this to be put in his contract then didnt show. he looks like a douche in my eyes for wanting the match, then talking to the press about it, calling dana throughout his training to see how he was doing, then not showing. now maybe tito wasnt the one who leaked it to the press, but ive never heard a denial from him on that, and the fact that he said he wasnt going to get paid for it is why he pulled out is ridiculous beacause if he was to get paid for it it would have been in the contract and from everything ive read there was nothing written in the contract about a payday for him. tito thinks he is bigger than mma and hes not, granted the same might be said for dana but at least he showed. the part that really got me was when tito said the president would be fighting the best mma guy in the organization, he obviously has been in melvins or diazs stash if he really believes that.

i think the deal was, through working out, sparring & swearing) to give the fans a sense that dana is a fighter too and try to gain him a little respect among fans that think hes paper pushing admin. prick that always wants his way.

I think Dana looks like a genious now.

Dana came off as a hard working blue collar type guy who is a man of his word and willing to take an ass kicking even if it means holding up his end of the bargain.

Tito looks like a punk because he really wanted this to happen so much so he put it in his CONTRACT. I dont think he would back out of one of the four UFC fights he has, so it makes him look like a punk when he backs out of his word to go sing happy birthday to a porn star.

Dana gets major respect from me, more so then I already had for the guy. And Tito "I wish I was a Hollywood Actor" Ortiz keeps falling in my eyes as a fighter. I think he should just coach cause he is excellent at that.

That really just sums it up.

Interesting tidbit on the show last night, Tito's ex is the one that got him another shot in the UFC. Not only does he duck Dana in a fight he wanted but he divorced the woman that stuck with him during unemployment and depression. I'm going to start calling people "Tito Ortiz," its far worse than any cuss or slang word I could use.

Making asumptions about his first marriage is a little below the line. You have no clue as to why is marriage ended. Anything in the ring is fair game or what he says in public is fair game, but come on. Whats next are you going to imply he beat his wife also.

Dana said something during the 1.5 hour show. Something about him being like "scorched dirt" and that if he wanted to, he could bury Tito and his career. That is exactly what this show set out to do. It got some people's hopes up to see them fight, only to be let down at the end. This is the begining of the end of Tito's career, mark my words!!

I was actually very impressed with something Dana said about fighting and why he didn't do it. Basically, he said "I trained hard to be a fighter, but some people have something inside of them that makes them fighters, and I didn't have that." I thought that showed a lot of character to not only come to that realization about yourself, but to say it on national tv. Most people aren't that secure.
