Tyron Woodley More Interested in Fighting Rory MacDonald Than Demian Maia

Fresh off a vicious knockout of Jay Hieron in his UFC debut on Saturday, Tyron Woodley is hoping for a busy year in the Octagon.
In fact, he’s already told UFC President Dana White that he’ll be available if someone drops out of the March 16 showdown between Carlos Condit and Rory MacDonald. It’s MacDonald in particular that Woodley has his eye on.
“I want to fight him,” Woodley told the Sherdog Radio Network’s “Beatdown” show. “If anything happens with Carlos Condit, God forbid, or something happens with that fight, I already told Dana White.”

Woodley needs to get a few wins in a row before he starts talking about fighting either one of these guys.

Agreed. That knockout was nice but damn, he's not even close to either of these guys right now.

rory would probably maul woodley. i think rory could stop woodley's wrestling and then probably tear him up on the feet.

Exactly. Rory will prove how good he is when he dismantles Condit. And Maia I believe just proved himself by dominating Fitch.
Brown or Pyle sounds good by me.

if Maia took Woodley's back like he did Fitch, it would be over very shortly. I'm pretty sure that Hendricks would get the call to replace either fighter if they get hurt, so Woodley would step in to fight Ellenberger...not a bad fight.
