The future for UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva isn’t terribly clear after his latest win at UFC 153.

It would appear Silva can write his own checks out of the UFC bank account at this point with his incredible winning streak, his devastating style, and continued success in pulling in both live crowds and pay-per-view sales.

Following his win over Stephan Bonnar at UFC 153, Silva now sits with two fights remaining on his current UFC deal, and he’s bounced back and forth on what exactly comes next...

Silva Might just be making Mayweather dollars if he keeps on winning. He already takes a significant cut of PPV I believe 1-2 percent being very significant.

Eventually his only choice will be to go to Light-Heavyweight. I don't see enough competition for him to stay at Middleweight much longer... Chris Weidman & Michael Bisping are the only other guys at Middleweight that can "SELL" a fight with Silva... At Light-Heavyweight ALL fights with Silva can be more easily "SOLD"

After what Silva did to Bonnar I only want to see the Spider fight Weidman, and then win/loss move to LHW.

He bullied Bonnar like Bonnar was a child!

This is assuming the UFC will milk his every fight as a blockbuster.... yap yap sometimes you gotta fight an Okami brah

Weidman, Boetsch, Bisping are about as good as its gonna get.

No one is pretending like Bonnar made sense as an opponent. It was a special circumstance and both guys stepped up to save the card.

Many others could have stepped in. Fighters who aren't legends with minimal fights left.

You are right about one thing... it was a spectacle all right.
