2.5 Million people watched the TUF 6 Finale. Even while it was opposite to A huge boxing fight (Hatton-Mayweather), and the end of a K1 Grand Prix. Not only that, but most of the season was only drawing about 1.1 Mil.

Actually it was strategically scheduled an hour earlier than usual to avoid coinciding with the Boxing Main Event. And, it worked, obviously.

That was one fight that you didnt want to run against.

I personally though they had stolen the show until I saw the Guida Huerta fight! Those two guys deserve to be here!! They were tough as nails!! I think most fans, even casual ones knew that Clay and Huerta was just bound to be good and tuned in for it. Now had it been Rashad Bisping .... they most likely would have done about 1.1 mil.

if TUF6 drew 2.5, then ufc 79 is gonna be off the charts. Its got something for every ufc fan whether their canadian, american, ufc diehards, pride diehards, mma diehards... i'm not sure if i've ever looked forward to a card more than 79

You forgot casual fans who just know chuck and maybe hughes.

But yea this card will rock !!!! I'm so pumped for it already! I'm very happy things happened the way they did. Liddell/Silva not happening a while ago. Silva dropping out of 76. Serra dropping out of 79. African Assassin's previous signing's league cancelled him (Or what ever the story was)

But now we have one of the best looking cards of all time.

This may just be the all time best UFC card ever....I would have to research it real hard to find a fight card better out there ever.

I'm sure he will. Everyone from TUF becomes at least a 3 fights contract IMO... (exept quitters)
Dana always says, he will most likely call a exiting fighter with losses than a boring winner, but i don't think that's the case.... Example - Okami... how is this dude still on payroll
