What was your overall sentiment for the TUF Finale last night? I was hanging with some friends, we had beers, pizzas, the whole spread, and fools were passing out on the couch. Shit was pretty slow there. They had more than enough downtime during the televised broadcast to air the Sampo-Benoit fight, the fight of the night and arguably the most technical, but they didn't.... Diaz saved the night for me though.

What did you think? I know I am WAY more excited for the three cards this month. They are stacked

Other than the Rosholt/Harris fight, I enjoyed them all.

But yeah, they wasted way too much time with all of the pre-fight hype and interviews and all of that extra nonsense. The whole event could've been completed within two hours.

Honestly, I went to sleep right before the men's TUF finale because I was so tired of watching previews and all that bullshit.

The down time was terrible. There was zero flow to the event on tv. It even seemed like the crowd was bored.

I thought it was a fun night of free fights. Sure it lacked star power but it delivered on the action IMO. The worst fight on the card was Rosholt/Harris and it wasn't even that bad. The pacing definitely took it's toll, though.

5 hours to complete 9 Televised fights was the down side. Would have liked to see Sampo vs Benoit too. I ended up not even watching that fight and it was FOTN. As for the fights, I enjoyed. The card itself was lacking the big names but that was to be expected on a TUF Finale.

With no more every Friday Bellator for a little while I was just happy to see some fights on TV.

That was a bad event, but I think it seems even worse because of the run of sweet events before it.

Although I did fall asleep waiting for Pena/Racoskzy to begin. Wayyyyy too much filler between fights

I watched it on dvr fortunately. I could see while I was fast forwarding there was way too much pre fight bs.

Yeah the pacing really was what killed it. The same damn commercials for 5 hours, that was insane.

I have noticed this being a more and more common occurrence since the UFC has began being televised on FOX...more down time / commercials than a PPV. Thank god for DVR, the only way I watch fights anymore.

Me & my buddies that watch a lot of the ufc events together mostly use finales as a vacation from the ufc. We dvred all the fights, watched football & partied & tuned in for diaz/maynard. Then when we woke up this morning we watched the fights, skipped through the commercials & enjoyed them for the most part

Oh my god I couldnt agree with you more. They usually have dope songs for GSP fights but that song is so terrible Goldberg makes it worst with 'this will not effect silvas legacy". Probabky the worst promo ever from the UFC.
