Add Tito Ortiz to the list of people who thought Matt Hamill got shafted at UFC 75. The UFC light heavyweight served as a coach on “The Ultimate Fighter 3” for both Hamill and Michael Bisping, and he saw a clear winner in his two students’ recent fight at UFC 75.

I notived that Hamill is not part of Team Punishment anymore. What happend there?

i dont think he was part of them just trained there, alot of fighters go train with other people, and i heard somewhere that he trained with tiot a lil for the fight

I am a Bisping fan and think the fight was close so I for the most part refrain from talking on the issue. But, regardless of if he is correct or not there have to be more people than just me who never want to hear from Tito or his stupid porn star girlfriend ever again. It's like he won't go away. He runs his mouth way too much and I am with Dana 100%.
I know there are a lot of Tito fans on here and you can flame me if you want i'm just letting my opinion out. I think he was once a great fighter and I love watching him on DVD from the fights when he was in the title mix. But I think he has replaced in-octogon ability with shooting his mouth off. I am not trying to disrespect him (maybe Jenna a little) that's just the way I feel.

I dont like tito either but he was definitly right about what he said. that decision was completely bullsh*t and somethin should be done about it. Matt Clearly won. when you have as many people saying that bisping lost, EVEN BISPING FANS, then they need to realize that the judges F'd up there and something needs to be changed

You people really still care about this b.s.? If the fight goes to a decision, sometimes the judges will **** up, WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF FIGHTING. If he didn't want to lose he should have knocked him out or made him tap instead of putting the fight in the judges hands. Anyone who's watched boxing or K-1 or any competitive fight sport. knows that the judges do some crazy shit from time to time. Acecept it and move on!!!!!!!!

We all know he won, didn't need his approval to know what I saw...Hamill is taking the high road on this though. Just quietly asking for his rematch and stating that he shouldn't have left it up to the judges and that Bisping is a good fighter. I personally would have talked some $hit!

Is a public statement and a challenge to "do the right thing" really necessary at this point? This is just another example of Ortiz being Ortiz and being a thorn in the side of Dana White.
Is White supposed to simply overturn the judges decision? Hell no. That would set precedent allowing for all sorts of grievances in close decisions. Yes, MMA scoring criteria needs a major overhaul, but as a previous poster alluded to: if you dont want the fight left up to judges, do all you can to ensure that doesnt happen. Controversy in scoring isnt something new.
White and the UFC have done the best they could have done, which is offer a rematch. Many are quick to point the finger at White for many things, including steroid usage, but cast nary a glance at the sanctioning bodies. And yes, England doesnt currently have an Athletic Commision, but the judges hired had scored fights stateside before. This controversy would still exist if it had been NSAC sanctioned and Hamill pulled off a split decision. Hopefully the rematch wont leave it in the hands of an inconsistent scoring system.

i'm definately not a huge tito fan, but i'm definately not a bisping fan.. and i dont understand why anyone would be considering how he acted after that fight. On the final bell he put his head down knowing that he most likely lost that decision. Then when the decision is read out, he manages to say "i guess we all know who the real ultimate fighter champion is" and "go back to wrestling", and he manages to ooze more class during the post fight conference. We all know he issued a statement a few days later, but it reaks of PR, and i have trouble believing it was sincere.

what tito did was speak his mind, backing up one of his friends. He did so to show respect to his friend, and because so many people in the mma community are trying to forget that botched decision as quick as possible. I think there should be pressure on dana to do something, overturning the decision might be unreasonable.. but maybe he should put the 10pt must system under examination and explore new options because if 10-8s were easier to get, then i dont think anyone could justify giving bisping that decision

I thought that Bisping was lucky to get a decision. I also think that Bisping should call out Tito after the Hamill rematch that would be interesting.
