I hope Tito will win !!

Like always, Tito talk a lot but he know that the UFC is the place to be as a top fighter.
He play a game here nothing more, he want to give the impression that he is thinking about leaving but when he will see the real contract offer by the others organization he will realize that they are not even close to what the UFC will offer to him.
Of course i am assuming that Tito will beat Machida because if he lose , Dana will have a real chance of booting him.

Tito UD !!

guess im the only one on here who wants to see machida continue demolishing guys, but im going with machida on this one... i don't think Donald Trump runs as tough a training camp as tito needs to take this fight

I dont think Tito is a fighter anymore...he is to got up in other aspects of his life right now, with his multi-"billion" dollar clothing company, his acting career, his girlfriend, his charities (which is a good thing), his book writing.... just too much going ont o properly be able to focus on training and fighting..I think Machida pulls off a 3rd round TKO on a gassing Tito

the funniest part of the interview is when tito says he wanted a bigger fight...what has he done to deserve a bigger fight than machida? if anything machida is the one who is taking a step back as he has faced and beat the tougher competition. i think machida will make it a tough night for tito, especially if tito takes him at all lightly which seems possible considering he doesnt seem to think it is a big enough fight for him.

Tito actually has a great chance of winning. He has never been submitted before and he usually faces problems with heavy handed strikers which Machida is not even though he does have some decent set of hands. Machida likes his opponents to press him on the feet so he can out point them or take them down for the sub.

I could really see a Tito UD right here. Tito won't try to strike and he won't be submitted. I might actually go Tito for a Unanimous GNP Decision.

i dont think that tito has no chance of winning at all i just think that machida is a very smart fighter and a significant favorite, and certainly not a step back for tito at this point.

this fight has bore fest written all over it, with that said i think tito uses his strength to lay and pray a decision.

I agree with Mayhem13 Tito has alot more than training go9ing on in his life. I think GSP Serra 1 proves that if you are not in the gym all day and training harder then the next you are no longer going to be the best. Tito has alot of things going on and good for him, there are alot of ways to make money most of them don't hurt as bad as training and fighting. Machida is going to get a title shot if he beats Tito.

I thought that was funny that he was saying he wanted a bigger fight than Machida.

Machida will destroy and send Tito into retirement. TKO Machida Rd 2.

really good fight i think machida can make this interesting hard to pick a winner just yet but tito needs to win this to stay in the thick of things besides if he loses he might be gone

I think Machida will win this one, and when he does i think he should put on a shirt that says "Punishing Him Out of the UFC."

The only top ten tito has a decent chance of beating IMO

But i see this going down similar to Griffin vs Ortiz did except for the domination in the first by tito, i dont see that happening to a much better skilled ground fighter in machida. I say Machida UD or a shady SD. Machida will win rounds 2&3 when tito is gassing. Round 1 is up for grabs.

i doubt tito will gas in a 3 round fight...

Tito has great cardio and will not gas in this fight. He will lose if he stays standing no doubt, but I think he can get it to the ground and work some elbows from their until he scores either a tko or a decision.

I would normally root for Machida against Tito, but I'm hoping Tito wins just to walk away with a W. He could go to M-1 and fight Arona, maybe 'lil Nog.

Let's face it, the UFC LHW is so stacked right now and more and more we're hearing about the UFC pissing off fighters. (Randy, Fedor and others)

Some people predicted this with the buyout of PRIDE while most were just busy drooling over dream match ups. Can't remember who though, *wink*

machida is gonna mess his face up, wow tito is crazy for taking this fight, he wont even be able to grab machida because thats all tito is really good at he cant sit their and hope to KO machida he needs a decision to take this and we all know machida can win decisions, cardio wont be a factor for either guy

machida via tko in the 1st or 2nd similar to the rich franklin fight

So no Tito vs Wanderlei 2! That kind of sucks.

Should be a good fight though. Props to Tito for taking on Machida, by the sounds of it no one else wants to.

Machida will dominate

Sweet! A good stepping stone for Machida and a good farewell for Ortiz.

This is an odd situation for me, I have really learned to hate Tito Ortiz over the years...but for some reason I am rooting for him this time. I think that alot of the things he does is B.S but he actually can be a very exciting fighter. I dont see what the slobbering over Machida is all about, he has had some impressive victories, but nothing that has made me so wow. I think Ortiz will have more than enough cardio, Im picking him to win this fight. I'm thinking a little GNP in the third....

I don't get how this is not a big fight for Ortiz. I mean, Machida is on a four fight win streak in the UFC, is unbeaten in MMA, and is unquestionably a top ten fighter right now. Considering Tito is coming off of a draw and a loss, one would think that this is about as good as it can get for him. I've always respected Tito as a fighter and I think he catches a lot of flak for being an ass (which he can be), but it seems to me that lately, he is relying more on his name than his abilities, which is unfortunate, because he really is a good fighter. Maybe we'll get to see him fight Babalu in Strikeforce, or something.

Tito doesn't stand a chance....Machida takes this one.

come on tito to win? who has he beat in the past 3 years? ken who is way out of his prime. tito just got by on griffin and evans. he wa good back in the day, dont get me wrong but the new fighters commin up are a different fighter for some of the old school fighters. machida tko rd 2.

Tito has become a gate keeper in the UFC and a strong one at that. He's not good enough anymore to beat the upper level guys but he's good enough to be at the top of the middle-level. UFC is looking to oust Machida because he's not a major draw for nominal fans.

Machida will win because he's focused on fighting and fighting only. Ortiz's attention is split between business, stardom, and fighting.

Look for Ortiz to take some time off and come back strong when he balances his priorities.

Tito has almost no chance of winning this fight. Machida has superior striking and Tito won't be able to keep him on the ground.

machida is my pick for this fight. but i agree with titos comments in the article. so many fighters are saying the same thing it must be true
