Fedor Emelianenko looked absolutely dominant in his performance against Tim Sylvia. The popular Russian fighter no doubt re-secured his position at the top of the worlds pound-for-pound rankings making quick work of one of the best fighters in the world.
"I was very pleased with my performance,” said Fedor after the fight. "Everything I wanted to do, I was able to do. I was prepared to stand up, but I knew I had a better chance to end it on the ground.”

I'm not a huge Tim Sylvia fan, but he's usually a good loser. He admitted Fedor was better and gave his "he's a stud" speech.
Tim just needs to evolve if wants to get a meaningful HW belt again, and that probably means getting out of the Miletich camp, as it seems to promote one dimensionality these days.

Well i can see Tim loosing to just about every heavy weight that fought on that card that night except for maybe Rizzo, so he is going to have to step his game up if he does not want to get forgotten.....

I agree Sylvia needs to get out of MFS. He needs to be more then just a length striker with KO power. But if that's what he truely wants to work on, I'd advise going to Holand and training with some of the Dutch kickboxers. They are some of the best in the world.

I watched the replay of Fedor knocking Tim down. The camera angle was taken from behind Tim. Those punches were just brutal. One could see the power being put into them, Fedor's whole body was behind them. As a fan of Randy's, I fear for him.

I just finsished watching the fight on youtube for the first time.. FEdor was utterly dominant.. I thik it iwas hte perfecrt gameplan against someone like Sylvia.. hit his as fast and as hard as possible before he has a chance to hit you.. Anyone still doubt Fedor is the #1 hevyweight? And has Sylvia ever been dominatged like that before?
