So just to make sure I understand this correctly. Tim wouldn't last 2 rounds let alone 2 minutes with a guy that couldn't contain all 5'11 of TK? Fedor makes his name on people being scared of him and I promise you that Tim isn't scared. Tim called Fedor out before and probably will again.

I think Fedor is a much better fighter than Tim silvia, but Tim Silvia is an one of the most underrated fighters out there........its too easy to say "he wont last two minutes".........I personally believe Fedor would take the fight down, and pound the crap out if silvia........but you never know what could happen in an mma fight.

In my opinion, mma fans don’t give Silvia enough respect.....Aleksander Emelianenko, Mark Hunt & Sergei Kharitonov are all shown more respect than Silvia.......and he (in my opinion) is as good as (if not better) than them.

i can't disagree with you any more.. how would tim silvia win in any way against mark hunt ? KO ? SUB ? maybe another borefest where he does nothing.. i'm talkin about winning a FIGHT, not a judges SCORE CARD. i'm not a tim silvia hater and i do respect his skills (one of the most underrated fighters IMO) but i dont think he can beat either hunt, kharitonov, and aleks e.

I think Tim could last 2 round with Fedor (5mn rounds)
If i have to give predictions i would say, fedor, ref stoppage in 2nd round

I really dont think Tim Sylvia should even be considered as a champ. He's not much of a fighter at all. He is very uncordinated and has no legs. Fedor would take care of him with a quickness.

How can a guy that hasnt lost in Five years be overated? His only loss is a cut and a NC accidental cut. He has beat every HW of note except Barnett. Ive seen him get rocked and dropped on his head and still no one has beat him. Tim can have all the KO power he wants. I dont see Tim going two rounds. Fedor fights to win, and has some of the best transitions ive seen for a big man. Tim reach would also be minimized by Fedors freakishly long arms.

No, he will get his head knocked off in the first round.

Im sure he could last 2min with Fedor. He would probably just try to keep distance the entier fight, until Fedor gets in close and takes him down.

Once they're on the ground, I think Fedor's Sambo background would dominate Sylvia's long limbs without a problem. Anything can happen though, even Cro Cop got KO'd by Randleman.

I guess the best way to show what I think is:



Man with the bat=Fedor
horse=dethroned HW champ

Tim Sylvia 2nd rd. KO of Fedor. Tim gives Fedor a lot of problems. Bad match up for Fedor. Sylvia would sprawl stay up on his feat and demoralize Fedor until a 2nd round KO

A pride official made that claim. I think it's unwise to trust what anyone says when they are hyping a fight or fighter. I think Sylvia really does want to fight Fedor( careful what you wish for , you just might get it) and would take the match if it was allowed. Prdie has repeatedly screwed the UFC by not honoring the fighter exchanges that have been negotiated in the past. Now that Pride is trying to come to the US, The UFC will not do anything to help them IMO. I think most peole agree with me that Fedor wins 9 out of 10 times in a Sylvia Fedor fight, but I wouldn't doubt that Sylvia really beleives he could win
