who u taking herman or joe

so whos gonna win herman or joe? is this gonna be a good fight?

im giving this one to ed via 2nd rounf sub.

I like Joe in this fight. Seasoned Vet, won like 8 of his last 9 fights by sub or tko. Lost to Filho, but you can't give him too much grief for that.

I do believe Joe has fallen off a bit over the past year, and that's why Filho beat him so convincingly, but I have yet to see Herman put on the type of performance that to me would warrant picking him. Herman is a talented guy, but Doerksen is just so hard to predict in what he'll come in with a game plan.. I would hope that Joe doesn't disappoint, because that means I get another lost on my record, but I don't think he will. Herman might shock us though..

Gotta go with Joe on this one. He is very experienced. Ed has good subs, but I believe Joe's are better.

I totally agree. Joe is a vet with close to 50 fights, and I think he'll tap Ed out again.

i think he is ready to avenge his lost and i don't think that joe will be so hard to beat !!

Herman will be ready for a war and i don't think that a short notice fight is a good think for Joe !!

I saw his fight against Cote yesterday on sportsnet and it was a massacre all the way until Cote gave his back at the end of the third RD , a mistake that i don't think Herman will do because his ground game his better than Cote !!
it was in 2005 i think and if Joe was so good, he would be a top 10 in the ufc by now.

How many fights of Doerksens have you actually watched?

Just because Joe isn't a top ten middleweight in the UFC doesn't mean he isn't that good. I would say he is one of the top middleweights in the world.

i enjoy watching him fight, glad he is back or at least one match hope he wins so he can get a couple more in the ufc

Anyone know how good a shape Doerksen is in? If he's in good shape he can take the rematch again.

If Ed does win, I think thats a big step in his career. Dirte seems like a good gatekeeper type to me.
