Just like last time...
We'll start off with 64 players (will accept up to 128). All names will be drawn out of a "hat" to form 32 teams of two. These 2-man teams will then compete in a tournament-style challenge based on combined points scored for each event. The losing team is eliminated (single elimination) after each event. The last team standing wins.
The winner is determined by the combined point totals of both members for each individual team. Tiebreaker #1 will consist of total combined earnings for that particular event. Tiebreaker #2 will be the combined W/L records for each team.
As of right now, we'll use "UFC 120: Bisping vs. Akiyama" on October 16th as the kickoff for the game.
** If a tiebreaker is needed, combined wager results for each teammate will be added together. The team with the highest bankroll gain will move on.
The opening round matchups are as follows...
TEAM 1 vs. TEAM 16
TEAM 2 vs. TEAM 15
TEAM 3 vs. TEAM 14
TEAM 4 vs. TEAM 13
TEAM 5 vs. TEAM 12
TEAM 6 vs. TEAM 11
TEAM 7 vs. TEAM 10
TEAM 8 vs. TEAM 9
