This list is good but idk if I would have Rampage third. His boxing is solid but he has no kicks and he has looked a little hesitant lately. I wouldn't even put him top 5.

I know, there are a lot, some many in fact that I forgot to put my fav fighter in mine. The only one I would question is cung le. Great striker but his inactivity automatically takes him off my list. Plus he didnt have that many fights

As it should be. I would take out Gomi and put Manhoef or Nick Diaz in there but your list makes the most sense.

Jon Jones should not be anywhere near this list.

Rampage, when you look at his fights though, is one of the most successful strikers in the history of the game, even if he does just have a brawling style with a ton of strength. He dropped, Wandy, Chuck, went toe to toe with Lyoto, took out Igor in his prime, etc. He gets the job done without a lot of finess.

10. Manhoef. Has some brutal Ko's but closer up in top tier competition he's not done as great but regardless the guys speed in his hayday was uncanny.

9. Crocop. The first guy to consistantly end fights with his high kicks of death.

8. Rampage. He'll rape you with his fist and even had a K1 fight to prove it if memory serves me right.

7. Vitor Belfort. When Vitor decides to throw his straight foward lighting fast left and rights most likely you're going down.

6. BJ. It's been said he would transistion well into pro boxing and I believe it.

5. Shogun. The first guy I can remember that was really pulling off insane spinning kicks,etc in MMA. Or at least the first to do it against top competition.

4. Chuck Liddell. His style and dominating record during his hayday helped to set the prototype for succesfull fighters to come.

3. Wanderlei. I was literally scared when I watched him fight Henderson for the first time. The Axe Murderer nick name suits him well.

2. Anderson Silva. What else can you say? His name says it all.

1. Bas Rutten. I once heard that during the formation of Pancrase it was believed it was almost impossible to knock out someone with an open fist. Especially when aiming those shots at the body. Bas blew the scepticks out of the water with only his first pro fight and became,I believe,the first truley well rounded fighter in the game which made his striking all the more deadly.

P.s Forgot about Igor. he definently needs to be on my list.
