Yuki Sasaki has been ruled out of tonight's Strikeforce middleweight tournament. The Japanese veteran of over 30 fights was denied a license Friday, California State Athletic Commission executive officer Armando confirmed to Sherdog.com, after MRI and MRA exams raised concerns over the Sasaki's health.

Didn't we just go through this with the IFL Grand Prix? It seemed everyday there was a new matchup, or someone dropping due to contracts/injuries...

Eh, he wasn't going to beat Santiago anyway.. Now Salmon gets to prove if his "Can't beat former UFC guys" curse continues or if he can actually beat someone who appeared in the UFC.

Salmon got knocked out cold again and carried off on a stretcher,pretty sad it looked like a glancing shin to the temple.
