Other top earners from the Showtime-televised event included main-card winner Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza ($65,000), Smith ($55,000), Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez ($55,000) and Matt Lindland ($50,000).

Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal, who also competed on the main card and make his promotional debut, earned $20,000, half which came in the form of a win bonus. However, CSAC officials said the fighter was fined 10 percent of his purse for an issue with his sponsor. (Lawal splashed the cage with Rockstar Energy Drink after his win.)

Cung Le has made a lot more money for Strikeforce than Smith has. Hopefully Smith will now get some massive paydays.

Either it's a typo or it had something to do with taxes. I guarantee he got more than $200.

It was probably covered by Dream or someting. No way a guy is traveling to the US to get $200.

By splashing his drink all over the cage "King Mo" showed no respect or concern for the fighters who fought after him. I am sure someone cleaned the mat somewhat, but that still couldn't have been too fun for the fighters the rest of the night. Fighting while you are "sticking and slipping" is dangerous. I noticed Josh Thomson slipping a few times...of course he was sweating all over the place though. Did anyone else notice Thomson constantly rubbing the sweat off of his eyes, face and hands? It got so bad I think it ruined his fight.
