The CSAC has released the attendance numbers and disclosed fighter payouts for this past weekend's Strikeforce events. They claimed 5621 paid attendance, 7249 total attendance for just under $390K live gate, and paid out $275K to the fighters.

If those numbers are right then they lost money. With staff, venue, fees, and ads they would be luck to break even, but they are getting closer. It was a fine event.

390k is just the live gate dont forget all the sponsorship,television money and stuff is coming in aswell.

What television money? It was streamed live on the internet... No TV whatsoever...

I think they may have had a local TV deal in San Jose and I am sure Yahoo gave them something, but shows are costly ventures and I don't think they made and money.

They also had BodogFight "presenting" the event, so Calvin probably gave them a nice chunk of cash. (The archived Yahoo version, btw, is kinda crappy. The video quality was OK, but no sound?!? At least they showed the Salmon fight first.)
