Dude Bernard Hopkins is the most underrated boxer ever! A record 20 Middleweight title defenses. My mans a beast!!!

*Take in note hes my favorite fighter. I actually think he's exciting to watch since his skills are crafty and he's an inside counter puncher! I actually thought the Winky Wright fight was exciting when others think it was not or think at most it was better then expected.*

Yeah I think he would beat Floyd. Bernard Hopkins makes you fight his game. No matter what your style is. Yeah the Jermain Taylor fights are both close losses. But he made Jermain fight his fight. He destroyed Jermain in the later rounds but he loss close decisions because he was lazy in the early rounds and didn't work enough to win them like he did in the later rounds! Same thing with his Roy Jones Jr. Fight. He made Roy fight his fight. But he loss rounds which he could have easily won. Plus Roy was beginning in his prime and he was a monster! But yeah anyways, I think Bernard would make Floyd fight his fight. I'd see Bernard coming in throwing and then cover up waiting to counter inside. That's what I love about him. Most counter punchers run away and back up when they counter. But B-hop is an inside fighter like Smokin' Joe and Cotto but he counter punches.

Floyd likes to have people fight his fight too. But his style against B-Hop's. Hopkins wouldn't give in. Floyd likes to hide against the ropes and throw a flurry when people are coming in and then run away. Or he throws a jab but let's them come in and counters their punches with a quick flurry and the runs away. I think the way you beat Mayweather is the way Rampage beat Chuck Liddell. You out counter punch a counter puncher. Mostly when two counter fighters fight. The one who gives in and throws the most offense and the one that loses. So I think Bernard would press Floyd like Wandy will press Chuck. BUT just like Rampage and hopefully Wandy. They won't throw first and let Liddell counter and catch them like Rampage. Chuck got nervous because Rampage wasn't following his gameplan of coming in swinging and he got nervous and threw the ugliest looping body hook I ever seen. I think if B-Hop presses and make Floyd uncomfortable. He can out box him the way he wants to and win the fight by fighting his fight and not Floyd's.

B-Hop ftw

I love Hopkins and i would never count him out of any fight, but its hard to pick someone like Hopkins to beat Floyd since he is alot bigger and slower while Floyd is still young and fast.

I have seen every Hopkins fight live in the past 5-6 years except the Hopkins/Tarver fight.......It was on the same night Cotto was fighting Malignaggi and i didnt know which one to buy....Well i ended up getting Cotto/Malignaggi and im glad i did...now only an other great performance by Cotto, but Malignaggi also made a new fan......I had seen Malignaggi a few times before, but the heart he showed against Cotto was unreal....Malignaggi is an other boxer i would love to see against Mayweather....he is just as fast, slick boxer as Mayweather and also has brittle hands

^ Malignaggi-Mayweather would be interesting, but Floyd showed me against Judah that he's able to win even if a guy can match his speed. Floyd does more than just move his arms quick, he's very accurate in when and where he places his punches. Teh few guys with equal or better speed (Malignaggi, Judah, Pacquiao) can't match his accuracy and the few guys with equal accuracy (Hopkins, Toney, JM Marquez) can't match his speed.

In my opinion, it's Cotto! Mayweather split decisioned Oscar and he may have KO'd Hatton but I never thought Hatton was gonna win anyway. I say let's see Floyd vs. Cotto. If Floyd beats Cotto, he has no reason what so ever to continue and I'll have no problem with him retiring.
