Now fans in Brazil can see their native fighters compete in UFC on TV. UFC has signed a 3-year TV deal to show UFC events & programs on 2 Globosat channels in Brazil.

This is a very very good idea and they should have done this years ago, and imho brazil will host a UFC event again even if it takes years for sanctioning etc.

agreed....should have been done awhile ago...and with the popularity of combat sports in that country im suprised that wasnt the first country they tried to get a deal in.....then again, not a lot of money down there to make as there is in canada and britain....irrgardless, good move

Yep, like you said MMA is popular in Brazil, but there's not a lot of mon ey to be made. That's probably what has been stopping Dana going there earlier.
