Current UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk should — finally — learn his fate from the appeal of a failed UFC 73 drug test tomorrow.

Sherk, who defended his title with a unanimous-decision victory over Hermes Franca in July, tested positive for elevated testosterone levels and nandrolone, an anabolic steroid, during an event drug test. The event took place July 7 at ARCO Arena in Sacramento, Calif., and the California State Athletic Commission subsequently suspended Sherk one year and fined him $2,500.

Hopefully it doesn't get postponed YET AGAIN. I've already read the format this time will be different than before, so almost anything can and probably will happen.

Finally I can decide tonight if he's in my top 10 or not.

No steroids he's in. With them he's out.

If it gets postponed I'll be pissed!!! Hope we can finally put this to rest today.

Its been cancelled, one of the commisioners has the sniffles jj

He will obviously not be cleared, they will likely do the same they did with the NYBA, which is basically admitting they fcked up and you are innocent but you still get punished

i wonder if he could take suit against the athletics commision?

they've cost him 10's of thousands of dollars, i would imagine he may have some case to go with.

??????? i'm not a lawyer though...

I looked up the agenda on the CSAC's website and although they can do items in any order, they were scheduled to hear the appeals before their lunch break, so we should know about Sherk sometime in the next hour or so.
