Anybody catch the EPIC collapse of the US Ryder Cup team?

Broke my damn heart

The US went into the singles matches on Sunday up 10 points to Europes 4. The possibility of a European come back was almost nil. It had only been done once before by the '99 US team.

Sure enough Europe plays some of the best golf I've seen in a long time. While the US team couldn't seem to make a putt to save their lives. Definitely was an entertaining Ryder Cup.

Props to Europe

We'll get yall next time

I was at my buddys house watching NFL all day and missed it Probably for the best because when I watched Friday and Saturday, the US kept winning and Mickelson/Bradley pairing was unreal. Playing Tiger for the last pairing was a mistake. Some of DL3's pairings was a little confusing imo, but hey props to the Europeans for that comeback. And special props to Rory McIllroy for showing up 10 min before tee off and kicking ass

It's ok, you can blame me

I didn't watch at all yesterday, I assumed we had it in the bag. Horrible loss, Europe is just better than the US at golf, they prove it time and time again.

My dad was raving about this to me the last few days. He said it was finished before Tiger and his partner were done golfing, yet people were leaving the course before Tiger et al were done. Kind of sad to see the former giant go out with not so much as a whisper.

I didn't watch it either because I figured it was done as well. I thought US would have had an easy day to get the win. We sucked bad yesterday. They can take us in golf and soccer, oh well. We tip our cap, way to take it from us. Europe wanted it more.

I watched it all, The score was actually 10-6 going into the singles matches not 10-4 as Europe won the last 2 matches in the 4 ball on Saturday.

Tiger played pretty well but for the team part of the tournament he was paired with Stricker who was awful.

For a while yesterday it looked like the tournament would come down to Tigers match with Molinari but Stricker missed a short put on 17 and Furyk missed a short one on 18 to make Tiger's match meaningless.

The Ryder and Presidents cup are always fun to watch because of the rarity of golf being a team sport.

Your right. I got the deficit and score mixed up

Dufner played damn good. However I think Woods played like he always does. Moments of greatness but mostly only average. I'm still waiting for that "aha" moment whereh he turns it on and it actually stays on for good. Like in the old days. He did play damn good on Saturday though

Nope, NFL football was on, and that's what I watched all day.

Not a big golf fan, but i'm so glad Europe won.

The US golf team and it's fans are terrible winners.

Woods not so much just because I'm so frustrated with his game however that look he had watching the celebration was pretty disheartening

I've always enjoyed watching Furyk play and it hurts to look at

Didn't Tiger win more tournaments than anyone else on tour this year, save for Rory? Also #2 on the money list and rose to #2 in the world rankings. He may not have won any majors or had that big moment this year, but it's been his best year since his (now ex) wife thought his head was a golf ball

The US fans were very disrespectful, other than towards Mcilroy and Donald (who lives in Chicago), but I thought that the American team was the more respectful of the 2 teams as far as how they celebrated. Mickelson especially was all smiles towards Rose when he sank 3 straight long putts to win their match.

Ian Poulter gave children around the world nightmares with his celebration face

Your right. Im more talking about him being absolutely dominate like he once was. His putting is still not where it use to be and neither is his ball placement. He used to be able to get that ball damn close. Itll come back I hope. Seems like he trys to hard sometimes. If he would just relax and have fun I think he'd play a lot better
