A late change has been made to the upcoming UFC 150 card in Denver as Rousimar Palhares has been forced out of his fight with Yushin Okami.

Greg Jackson trained middleweight Buddy Roberts now steps in to face Okami on the show happening on Aug. 11 at the Pepsi Center in Denver. Roberts’ manager Ali Abdel Aziz from Dominance MMA confirmed the news via Twitter late Tuesday evening, and also independently confirmed the switch to MMAWeekly.com as well.

I'm not a fan of Palhares at all I was hoping to see Okami beat his ass.

Not having to see him at all is the only thing better then seeing him get his ass beat

"The Brazilian middleweight suffered damage to his knee and will be sidelined for some time, his coach Murilo Bustamante told Fighters Only today.

He may even require surgery to fix the damage, which is likely to be ligament-related.

“He got an injury in his knee during the camp. Bad luck. He is out of action for while. After next two weeks we will know for sure if he'll need a surgery,” Bustamante said."

Not to kick a man when he's down, especially since I love his skills in the cage, but there is no better poetic justice than Paul Harris suffering knee damage. Even outside of what we've seen in the cage there was this little incident at ADCC 11. Maybe next Kos will pull out of a fight from eye damage or Kongo will pull out from balls damage.

Third opponent for Okami, first Luiz Cane, Palhares, now Roberts.

Might be a better fight stand up wise.

This fight sounds better to me than Okami tentatively trying to jab himself to a decision victory. Roberts might not have Rousimar Palhares's name value or penchant for violent limb breakage, but at least he will allow Okami to work a less passive game.

This sucks, I was really looking forward to Palhares/Okami and Robberts/Camozzi but idn how Roberts is going to manage a victory here, no doubt it would be huge for his career.

The ADCC fiasco was the Refs fault for restarting them in the middle with palhares in a leglock hold.
