Rory MacDonald vs. Che Mills Planned for UFC 145 in Montreal

Welterweight prospect Rory MacDonald will make his return to the UFC in March against Che Mills, MMAFighting.com has confirmed with sources close to the fight.
The Canadian MacDonald, who pulled out of his UFC 140 fight against Brian Ebersole last month due to an injury, will meet Mills at UFC 145 on March 24 at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

I don't understand this one. I have to say that this is quite the step down for Rory after putting a whoopin' on Pyle and Diaz.

I guess there was no real step up in competitions for Rory to face right now. Would have to wait for someone to win in a matchup.
But I will be a fan of Che for stopping Cope.

ya big step down for Rory but when your a 22 year old prospect, who wants to sit around and wait for a fight, right? Should be exciting none the less big fan of Ares and it would be good to get a couple more wins before moving into title contention for him imo

This is a stupid fight no doubt. Scrap the Fitch vs Hendricks mismatch and this mismatch then make Fitcch vs MacDonald and Hendricks vs Hathaway and Serra vs Mills.

Che Mills is about to be badly injured.
This is the mismatch of the century in my opinion. A few years ago, a fighter of Mills' calibre wouldn't step foot in the UFC Octagon....
Let alone face Rory Macdonald, who without question is one of THE rising stars in MMA.
