How can people rank Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira first in Heavy weight, but than rank Fedor above him in P4P. That doesn't make any sense.
Any body want to explain why they did that?

While I don't bother with rankings, I personally think they are a load of subjective tripe, ill answer this for you:
Its because to most people weight class rankings are not necessarily about who someone thinks is the best fighter but who someone thinks deserves to be ranked wherever at a specific time.
P4P is more about who people think the best fighter is period.

lots of people, including me give Fedor props for his past fights & record, & give Nog credit for fighting harder opponents in the HW division
kinda makes sense if u ask me

the answer to your question is that many MMA fans are tired of the lack of competition that Fedor has faced in the past 3 years and have thus dropped him in the rankings. that coupled with the fact that Nog is coming off wins over HH and Sylvia and is the Interim Champ of the UFC make fans rank him high. so then you have Nog surpassing Fedor due to these circumstances.
personally, i can't ever rank Nog over Fedor after those beatings i witnessed; i thought i was watching something illegal for crying out loud. so if Fedor beats Sylvia who is a legitimate opponent he should unanimously reclaim his top spot.

That is a good explination.. Fedor whooped up on Nog 3 times... GRanted Fedor in MMA has not fought some of the most Stellar opponents lately.. I will be happy once the fight with Tim is over.. Fedor should come out on top fairly easily.. and should catapult to the lime lite... It would be a perfect setup to for a fight with Randy... something both fighters want and long time MMA fans have wanted...
