Lawler tore a tendon in his right arm during training, forcing him to sit on the sidelines without activity for at least six weeks. The EliteXC and ICON Sport middleweight champion was supposed to defend his ICON belt against Hawaiian slugger Kala Kolohe Hose.

Not the most important news I know but I am practicing, I don't know who this guy was that was supposed to fight Lawler either, I think Robbie would have gotten another cheap KO victory. He needs to finish up these contracts and get back to competing in the UFC, I don't think his ego will allow it though. Robbie enjoys being a "champion" so much that he would rather have a belt for beating up cans than challenge himself for fear of another loss.

I agree, especially with the talent in the 185 division in the UFC. I'd love to see Robbie come back but I think his ego would definitly get in the way of him coming back.

I'd love to see EliteXC or ICON sign Chris Leben and have those two go at it.

Oh yeah, I just loved hearing Joe Rogan and Goldie say that Chris Leben is a really tough kid with a strong chin and immediately hearing Joe Rogan say "OH HE GOT ROCKED!"

I agree that he needs to come back to the UFC, yet I wouldn't consider KO victories over Trigg and Ninja cheap victories. Those two fighters are definitely not cans.

True, but not really champions either. Not by my standards at least (nor the UFC's). I just think that if he came he would do well enough to be a force, but not a champion...I don't see him beating A. Silva or Hendo. I think Lawler would be great for the rest of the MW div, but there is a great divide in talent between Hendo/A. Silva and the rest of their competition.
