Rickson in da house! Diego Sanchez headlines TUF 9 finale as a BJJ brown belt

Yesterday, I became an official Saulo Ribeiro Brown Belt. I am honored to finally be a part of REAL Gracie BJJ after Royler Gracie tied my brown belt after Saulo promoted me. The icing on the cake was that my hero Rickson Gracie was there watching me and congratulated me!!!

Saulo is one of the best guys you could get your brown from. That is awesome for Diego.

For some reason I was under the impression Diego was already a BB. Big accomplishment. Receiving a belt from Saulo is held in pretty high regard, and I'm sure most would say getting a Brown Belt by Saulo is probably equal to a BB from most other instructors.

Congrats to Diego. That guy is crazy as a loon but man I love his intensity and love nearly all of his fights.
