Machida by tko late in the 2nd or sometime in the third, cus i know thiago will push the pace and his cardio is suspect.....so i see him pushing to hard against machida and end up running into the same knee that dropped ortiz and then being finished by gnp

i agree this should be the main event. There styles are not that much alike but i was suprised to see that they are the same height. And being that they are both undefeated makes it more interesting. I'm going to take thiago in this one.Fan of both but just a bigger fan of silva he seems like he goes out to get tje job done

Worse than Evans-Bisping? I doubt it. But I see where you gettin at. I dont think Evans should ever be a headliner again, hopefully Liddell will put an end to it.


Also, I'm not sure who will take this fight with Machida and Silva. I'm not much of a Machida fan but I think he has the edge. Although I think anyone who picks him to win by TKO is nuts. Machida isnt going to knockout Silva, he couldnt even finish Ortiz. If he wins he will do it by another drawn out decision. Although Silva has some power so hopefully he can catch him. Either way this will be a great fight!

Dumb, Machida should be next in line to fight Griffin.

I wasn't aware that submitting Sokoudjou with an Arm Triangle constituted being a "bitch decision." hmmmm?

Machida is going to dictate the whole fight and wear Silva down via 3rd TKO.
I dont see Silva taking him down and GnP Machida like he does everyone else. Although Silva is a beast in that dimension, Machida is too crafty.

great fight, i got machida winning. speed kills, and i don't think silva can catch him.

Ok now besides the Franklin KO name another dominant performance Machida has had in his career.
You can't. He was lucky to catch Franklin in the right spot and that Soko is an inexpeirenced fighter( especially on the ground ).
Give Soko another year or so and have a rematch, The outcome wouldn't be the same.

Machida will be exposed soon, if not by Silva then the next fight after that should be a top five fighter and we will see then.

I personally think T. Silva has got his ticket.

Oh yeah, when he threw Tito to the ground, he was backing up? And when he almost knocked him out with a knee to the liver. I forgot he was running away and was still able to do that.
Come to think of it, that makes him even more well rounded.

Do people really think Machidas fights against Soko and Tito were boring?

I am sure that some are just being sheep and jumping on the bandwagon. The guy is pure class and if you can't see that well then you might just be the kind of people who just love the way Bob Sapp fights.

I like both Machida and Thiago but have Machida winning this one. And then the belt.

We'll have to see how "American" the British crowd acts, but I think Machida is going to have to backpedal even faster than in the Tito fight due to Machida constantly going after him (at least for one round) and that will mean boos for Machida.

Those kind of boos = no title shot yet.

When people boo its because they have no respect and probably have no idea what its like to be a fighter in the cage, booing Kailb Starnes is different because he didn't want to fight, Machida clearly does. You fight to your strengths so why should machida change, his style is very successful. I would find MMA pretty boring if everyfight was just 2 fighters standing up going toe to toe, different styles is what adds to the appeal of the sport and makes it so exciting

This is true but surely you can only ignore someone with a unbeaten record for so long whether their being booed or not.

I will be at the fight and i certainly wont be booing know matter how the fight goes

They could do but if that happened they run the risk of never having another title fight at light heavyweight and Griffin will be champion forever
