Unaired prelim matches:
George Roop beat David Kaplan by split decision, 29-28 Roop, 30-27 Kaplan, 30-27 Roop.
Yoshiyuki Yoshida beat Brandon Wolff by submission (guillotine) at 2:24 of round 1.
Kyle Bradley beat Phillipe Nover by TKO (strikes) at 1:03 of round 1. Questionable stoppage.
Tim Hague beat Pat Barry by submission (guillotine) at 1:43 of round 1.
Brock Larson beat Mike Pyle by submission (arm triangle) at 3:06 of round 1. (Pyle replaced Chris Wilson, who was a last-minute scratch)

Frank Edgar beat Sean Sherk by unanimous decision, 3 30-27s.
Chael Sonnen beat Dan Miller by unanimous decision, 3 30-27s.
Drew McFedries beat Xavier Foupa-Pokam by TKO (strikes) in 37 seconds.
Krzysztof Soszynski beat Andre Gusmao by KO at 3:17 of round 1. (Prelim)
Matt Hughes beat Matt Serra by unanimous decision, 3 29-28s.
Ryoto (Lyoto) Machida beat UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rashad Evans by KO at 3:57 of round 2 to become THE NEW UFC LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

Normally here I'd mention where you can watch it online, but tonight you all are on your own as I bought the Yahoo Sports live stream and will be enjoying a higher-quality streaming experience.

haha thats what i was thinking, luckily most of the pre-lims seem(on paper) to be designed for quick finishes

Argh!!! The anticipation is killing me! So close from the PBP... why does Roop vs. Kaplan have to be so important!

Sounds like Roop is winning the fight, but I have this sickening feeling that we're going to get F'd over.

R1: Both fighters trade shots but nothing significant landing. Roop pressing the action with combinations, while Kaplan loads up on kicks. Kaplan lands a nice one-two combo and starts to find his range. Kaplan begins to press the action and Roop keeps him at bay with kicks. Roop lands a nice combination that bloodies Kaplan's nose. Kaplan responds with one of his own as the two fight at a brisk pace. Kaplan lands a couple of low kicks but Roop responds with a straight right. Kaplan gets a takedown but Roop gets back to his feet after some struggling. They trade shots as the round comes to an end.

MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Roop.

R2: Roop lands some kicks to start the round as Kaplan circles around. kaplan goes for a takedown and Roop lands a knee but is soon on his back. After some inactivity, Kaplan gets up and lets Roop up. Roop using his reach well with kicks and punches. Kaplan pushes Roop against the cage and gets a takedown. Roop gets back to his feet after a bit and Kaplan attacks with low kicks, while Roop lands punches. Kaplan goes for another takedown but Roop struggles before finally going down. Roop being the aggressor from the bottom with elbows as Kaplan works the body with punches. Close Round.

MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9 for Roop.

After reading the junkies play-by-play it sounded like kaplan won with takedowns.

But I had Roop SD, how about that...very nice.

Yoshida chokes out Wolff in first with a rear naked choke. Yoshida had to sub him twice, as the ref didn't see the 1st tap!
