Report: State Of Tennessee Likely To Legalize MMA

In the Tennessee Daily Times, it is being reported that the state is very close to legalizing Mixed Martial Arts. According to the report, supporters are hopeful that the legislation will be put in place by May 2008. Marc Ratner of the UFC has already responded by saying they'd love to run either Nashville or Memphis.

That would be awsome ! For those of us fans in the south who can't travel across the country. I can actually go to a live UFC event. Keeping my fingers crossed to this.

Well, considering I'm in Memphis, this might be the best news I've heard all year.
