UFC reality series 'The Ultimate Fighter' moving off Friday nights for Season 17 on FX

"The Ultimate Fighter," the UFC's long-running reality competition, will move out of its current Friday night time slot on FX to a different day of the week starting with Season 17.
FX executive Chuck Saftler on Wednesday confirmed the change during a media conference call promoting the season, which will begin taping later this month and will air starting in January on the cable network.
The UFC and FX announced Season 17 earlier this week with coaches Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen

To be honest, I'd prefer it to be on Mondays because I need a jolt of energy at the beginning of the week but I'd take it any other day other than Friday

I'd also prefer Mondays but anything is better then Fridays. Bout fuckin' time

To improve ratings I would let the guys go out at nights...
Id personally think it would be better for smaller teams of like 4 a piece and they train at the same time at the same place but not together....
I also am not a fan of 2 round fights at all...
I thought the first season was to build the roster in the UFC....I mean now if you are good you go to a gym and find out....Fighters these days dont have to go on a show...

Friday nights during high school football season was very bad idea. And you're right monday night football should not be messed with. Wednesday was great. i hope they go back to Wednesday. But anyday but friday.
