Also, Metallica raised me since I was like 5 years old, when the black album came out. So any Metallica reference is rewarded by me with props. However.... Your post is confusing to me. Are you of the opinion that St. Anger is better than the black album?

No, he's saying that St. Anger is bad, and that Rabi has been downgraded to that level because of his criticism of GSP.
For the record I would go with Justice or Master of Puppets as the best Metallica albums before the black album, but that's good also.

Ohhhhhhhhh k, now I get it
Also on the record, I would have to agree about Master and or Justice being better than the black album. Of course, the black album is legendary. That represents the true golden years of my life, or a least one of the golden eras. But their first four albums, including Master of Puppets.... Jesus Christ. I've been a Metallica fan my whole life, but I can't express what that album and song mean to me. When Metallica played the Big 4 in my backyard, 5 miles from my house, and I saw them live for the first time, I probably cried about five times during their set.... (I know, I'm a pussy)
In my defense though, I had waited my whole life to see them. And by all reports I have seen, I witnessed the only time Metallica played "Orion" in it's entirety. Combine nothing else matters, fade to black, sanitarium, ride the lightning.... That was the most amazing set I could have hoped for.

Master of Puppets & Justice are top notch, but the black album was on a whole other level.

i agree Justice and Master albums were awesome, but the Black Album pretty much got me hooked on Metallica. it is still one of a select few albums i can play and not skip a single song (generally most albums I listen to have 1 crappy song I skip).

they came to Toronto many years ago when Godsmack was their opening band...i dont remember why I couldnt go but I was pissed right off. say what you want about them but Godsmack is one of my all-time favourite bands. then add in Metallica = possible best concert experience ever. p$ dont worry i may have cried then too...just not as much

That was sweet! Of all the side projects i have been in this is only the second i have won!! Again i would like to thank Rabi for providing all of us the added selfless entertainment and of course P$....no competition is worth a crap without opposition. Slow and steady won the race this time!
