just seen a similar thread on sherdog....what do you guys reckon?

miletich would be a good choice, if we're talking someone who's fighting regularly at the moment i wouldn't mind tito working with me, getting my cardio up to his level would help me loads

As a fighter I can't stand Tito, but I can't think of someone else I'd rather have training me. He has real heart as a coach and I'm happy that (even after the sun has set on his fighting career) he will have his passionate coaching to fall back on.

Gina Carano for my BJJ coach. So what if her ground game isn't her strong suit?

But she would kick my ass. I think Gina could teach me a couple things I didn't know already.

I'd train with Greg Jackson. I don't know how he's doing it but he's pumping out the up-and-comers (Rashad Evans, Keith Jardine, Diego Sanchez).

I would have to go with Couture also. With him, I would be able to work on my Greco, Freestyle, and Folkstyle also.

gsp - most well rounded fighter in the ufc amazing athelete
rich franklin - works as hard as anybody in the sport if not harder
brandon vera - has great muay thai and overall skills

i think training with these 3 people you would be amazing, some people will argue and say these arent the best 3 fighters in the sport but training with them will make you great

Maybe its sappy, but I'd stick with the guys I've got now. I get exponentially better every year, so why mess with a good thing? Especially when we get our training facility built.

Yeah, because Rich gave Serra such great advice. Just kidding. That's a solid crew.

i know you all may hate him,and i dont know why...and thats the only reason you didnt pick him but for sure Tito Ortiz is the best coach...

how many losses has team punishment had in the last 6 months?

none that i have seen

no only is he a great coach but he knows how to motivate you

Didnt you watch UFC 66? Tito got KO'd by Chuck.
And Dean Lister got schooled by Nate Mardqat. Still a great camp nonetheless.

I watched a pre fight interview with the boogey man and he trained with team punishment for the Marquart fight.

Team Punishment IMO is a decent camp and they get a lot of top tier guys to train there.( Barnett, Rampage ) I would rather train at other camps because I feel Tito's trainees seem a little 1 dimensional, but you know if someone is coming out of Titos camp they will be in great shape.

Obviously Chute Boxe would be one of the best teams to train with.

But as for one on one training, and yes I do speak biasedly, but Bas Rutten. He started out in the fight game very one-dimensional, with no ground game at all. But he is now and will forever be considered one of the greatest fighters of all time. He is very well-rounded, and has a winning attitude. Combine that with his training experience and it would be amazing.

I would love to have Tito Ortiz work with me. His Cardio is the best in the biz. Same with those elbows. He'd be teaching me the ground and pound. I wouldn't mind having Arlovski or chuck or CC to help my stand-up. I am a submission fighter so that would help.
But i think the perfect person to train me would be GSP. He trains all Martial Arts.
