An injury has forced UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre (22-2 MMA, 16-2 UFC)out of next weekend's UFC 137 event and a title fight with Carlos Condit (27-5 MMA, 4-1 UFC).

I feel Condit's pain. This was his golden opportunity. I have my hunches as to what is actually transpiring but I will simply keep mouth shut until further developments.
I am no training expert but shouldn't the training at this point be very light to ensure no injuries occur? The last leg of the training should just be going over the strategies and staying in shape and getting lots of rest. I would assume there is no sparring at this point of the preparation.
I don't like it. Something smells fishy.

I think Condit should take the fight. I have a feeling he will lose his title shot if he decides to wait. Taking the fight would be a great risk to his status in the division but GSP is already lined up to fight the winner of Diaz vs Penn. I have a feeling Condit will get passed up if he waits. I say take the fight and ask the ufc for a bonus. It will be difficult for the ufc to deny him because if he loses, he also loses his chance at GSP.
Take it Condit.

I paid over 500 bucks and am taking shit from work to take time off to see this

Absolutely. Gsp never gets injured. Gsp also never fights anyone with a reach advantage.
Gsp was set to fight someone with the reach advantage, and then he gets injured. Need i say more?
