UFC veteran Pete Spratt will be fighting fellow UFC vet, Jason Von Flue on April 26 for Ultimate Warrior Challenge at the GMU-Patriot Center in Washington, DC.
Coming off a submission loss last month to Ryan Ford, at MFC 15 last month, Spratt will be looking to get back to winning ways as he faces Von Flue, who is also facing a win drought after losing 5 of his last 6 fights.
The promotion itself, The Ultimate Warrior Challenge, is an upstart organization which is gaining success in America, and also in the U.K with it’s branch UWC England promoting 8 shows just last year. Also, newly instated president of the organization, John Lewis announced that, UWC is in negotiations with American, and European networks in developing a reality series called Making of the Ultimate Warrior, a big-brother concept show in which amateur fighters are bred and compete for a contract. This new reality series comes at a time where MMA reality series are gaining popularity, such as The UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter,and BET new venture; The Iron Ring.
Details however, are still in their infancy as MMAOverdrive investigates.
