wait... BJJ: royce gracie????? he was the best BJJ guy in the early tournements but he would probably get subbed by a guy like cerrone if they fought in royces prime. i just think jujitsu in mma now is far better than it was in gracies prime.

Absolutely. I think BJJ all around the world is evolving like boxing did and MMA is currently. Cool really.

Power of Punches: Chuck Lidell

-Pure knockout power from all angles, can earn the knockout while back pedaling. Guys like Ortiz, Silva, and Couture have mentioned Liddell having one of the hardest punches.

Leg Kicks: Edson Barboza

-Nasty leg kicks. He's crippled more then one opponent with leg kicks alone.

BJJ: BJ Penn

-First non-Brazilian winner of the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship in the black-belt category. Most people need a decade or more to earn their black belt, Penn earned his in just three years before winning the WJJ Championship.

Wrestling: Jon Fitch (Guerrilla wrestling)

-Can go hand in hand with Guerilla JJ. American Kickboxing Academy prefers this type of wrestling.

Toughness: Frankie Edgar

-Watch Edgar/Maynard 2&3.

Boxing: Frankie Edgar

-Some of the most crisp and accurate boxing I've seen in MMA. Focuses more on landing his strikes instead of the power behind them.

Elusiveness: Anderson Silva

-Watch his fight with Forrest Griffin.

Speed: Frankie Edgar

-Quick in all areas of his game.

Reach: Jon Jones

-Freak of nature.

Ground n Pound: Mark Coleman

-He was pounding out guys while Tito was still the b**** of Hunnington Beach.

Clinch: Anderson Silva

-See Silva/Franklin 1&2.

Strength: Kevin Randleman

-One of the strongest men in the history of MMA.

Takedown Defense: Chuck Liddell

-How many times have you seen Chuck on his back? And the handful of times you have, how long did he stay there?

I'm sorry, but i must change the criteria in order for my response to make sense to myself.

Relative to division - as Lighter weights inherently have less power but more speed - And in their Primes

Power - Henderson
Strength - Lesnar
Speed - Edgar
Reflex - Anderson
*Durability(Toughness/Heart) - Hunt/Fedor
*Cardio(Conditioning/Endurance) - Diaz/Cain

Pugilistic Skills - Belfort
Boxing Defense - Rampage
Kicks - Aldo
Kicking defense - Fedor
Takedowns - Georges St. Pierre
Takedown defense(from shoot in leg takedowns) - Chuck Liddell
Clinch grappling - Randy Couture
Takedown defense(from clinch/trips/throws) - Bj Penn
Clinch striking - Anderson
Ground and pound - Shogun
Transitions - Penn
Submissions - Rousimar Palhares
Balls - Don Frye
Footwork - Machida

This is my perfect MMA fighter, who could never exist due to contradictory muscle groups.

Some side notes -
BJJ: Nobody in that division wants to go to the ground with him, period.
Wrestling: I think Edgar and Sherk probably deserve mention. Edgar because he usually the smaller guy and out-wrestled Maynard and was able to take BJ down. Sherk for similar reasons. A natural LW that was able to take down Hughes. I would not say Askren yet, not because I don't beleive in his wrestling, but because he hasn't shown it against top competition and he probably isn't in his prime yet (although his wrestling is probably about as good as it is going to get because as he spends more time training striking, BJJ, etc. his wrestling likely won't improve).
Toughness: Frankie is obvious. Hendo has had over 30 fights against the likes of Rampage, Wandy, Fedor, Anderson, and Belfort and never been KO'd. Rampage has been KO'd, but in several of those losses took about 5x the punishment most would before he finally fell.
Speed: I'm not sure if I'm following what this cirteria is. Hand speed or overall speed? I guess either way a prime Belfort could fit.
Strength: Even a bigger Randleman couldn't overpower Rampage.
TDD: Whenever I think of this I always envision Hughes having GSP in a body lock and still not being able to get him down. BJ Penn deserves mention here based on how he was able to move up to WW and stuff TDs from some of the best wrestlers in MMA (at least before he gassed).

I'm wondering why people don't pick Demetrious Johnson for speed.
Have you seen the guy shoot? LOL.
