Not to bash on any of the quality fighters BJ brought in, but I'd be more impressed if I saw BJ running on those treadmills in the background.

Care to explain how that makes me a troll? I thought it was a pretty poignant point considering the obvious lack of cardio BJ has displayed throughout his career and more specifically in his last fight against GSP.

It is always good to see a fighter trying to improve his camp but in all honestly BJ Penn needs a new camp not new training partners. He needs to be someone where were people are not afraid to step on his toes and/or put him in his place.

Pretty much the exact way I feel about it. He needs to get a trainer who will put him through hell. He could be the very best, but .. well... we all know.

I think he brought in some good training partners to fight someone like florian.
the diaz brothers have the same type of reach florian does with an attacking style of bjj that should emulate anything florian can bring to the table on the ground.
As long as he works kick defense and chooses to fight an aggressive fight i think he has this fight.

well bringing in the diaz brothers cant hurt him though, plus i have a hard time seeing nate or nick bowing down to bj penn and not saying what they feel
i understand your point but the topic is about his new training partners and i think they made some good choices.

Good training partners! Some of them are built somewhat like Kenny, some of them fight somewhat like Kenny, so that's great! Interesting that Nate went along. But it will be a great experience for everyone involved.
