Paul Daley to train with champ GSP, wants Nick Diaz rematch in UFC

It's been longer than you think since Paul Daley (28-11-2) was dismissed from the UFC following his post-fight incident with Josh Koscheck at UFC 113.
His post-fight "swipe" at Koscheck was 16 months ago, and a lot has happened since then.
Daley has fought for four different promotions (soon to be five), posted mixed results, and tried to maintain an acceptable level of decorum in the hopes of one day returning to the world's top MMA promotion.
"If (UFC Chairman and CEO) Lorenzo (Fertitta) came to me and said, 'What you did we can look past that. Would you like to come back to the UFC?' I just want everyone to be clear that yeah, I've got nothing personal against the UFC, and I do think they are a great organization," Daley told MMAjunkie.com Radio (www.mmajunkie.com/radio).
Technically, Daley has had ties to the UFC again since the organization purchased Strikeforce in March. He became property of Forza LLC (the subsidiary of UFC parent company Zuffa LLC), which was created to house the acquired Strikeforce assets.

If I was Dana or one of the Fertitta brothers, I would not let Daley back in. What he did was one of the most poor showings of sportsmanship I have ever seen. Yes, maybe Koscheck deserved it but that is not how you behave if you want to keep your job as a fighter.
I am all about forgive and forget but it is too early. The memory is still fresh in my mind and many more minds I would assume.
In 1991, Jimmy Conners made a valiant comeback at age 39 by defeating young Aaron Kristein to make it to the US Open semifinals. Conners was defeated by Jim Courier in the semifinals. It took ABC almost 20 years to forgive Courier - and this was all because Courier defeated the people's champ, Jimmy Conners. The broadcast station finally forgave Courier and sent him an invitation to commentate a few years ago.
So yeah, compare that to Daley - I say let Daley learn the hard way of what it means to be professional. Ironically - Jimmy Conners was not very professional.

this kinda made me laugh a little bit I mean I kinda like Daley but the odds of him coming back to the UFC are slim, but Diaz v Daley 2 would be a very fun match up!

Daley has no chance at being a title threat anymore. Koscheck, Fitch, Sanchez, Shields will take him down and win easily. Diaz will win 8/10 times. Penn will take him down and sub him if he doesnt catch him standing. Rumble will either KO him or beat him on the ground. Story, Brenneman, Hendricks will also take him down and beat him there. Alves is a toss up.

I'd like to see Daley back. So what he punched Kos? I see people get all pissy when they hear UFC trash talk is kinda scripted. But when its actually real beef you don't like it? I actually liked it when Daley hit him, you know how many people bought that whole card for that fight only for Kos to talk so much crap and just hump him? 2nd time Kos did that to me, first time was Kos vs Diego 2.

So Diaz gets to come back after the Riggs incident, Wes Sims gets a pass for stomping Mir almost to oblivion and Junnie Browning gets to pick multiple fights on TUF, but Daley is a no forever? I call BS. Him not coming back will have more to do with not being a top 10 fighter than any supposed ethics.
