Strikeforce held the first ever sanctioned MMA tournament in California as four middleweights vied for the right to become the tournament champion. In addition, Strikeforce crowned a heavyweight champion as Paul Buentello and Alistair Overeem fought for the vacant title.

santiago has really come into his own, he has some impressive wins over some tough opponents (horn and prangley in his last three fights). the guy can strike and he has a bjj black belt, i hope this guy keeps working his way up to a second chance in the ufc.

That Salmon knockout was brutal, it's like the knee hit his neck and put him out like a light. He really didn't look sharp out there and probably should be thinking about calling it quits.

Its not that impressive because the knee doesen't hit him directly in the face...kinda a freak knock out. I felt bad for Sean, just seems to have the worst luck....it looked like he stopped breathing for a second very scary situation.

A fellow on another site talked to him yesterday, he said he can fight in january. I personally think the man needs to quit. Theres something about his head that makes him succeptable to KO's.
