I am predicting there will be a ton of new threads created after this PPV airs on Feb 3rd so to prevent that from happening, I will be pinning this thread.

Unfortunately, Lutter was unable to make weight for his title match so the fight will now be a non-title fight. Lutter is also fined 10% of his purse for not making weight.

Roger Huerta Wins by Technical Knock Out at 0:19 in the 1st round

Mirko Cro Cop Wins by Technical Knock Out at 4:33 in the 1st round

Quinton Jackson Wins by Technical Knock Out at 3:49 in the 2nd round

Patrick Cote Wins by Unanimous Decision at 5:00 in the 3rd round

Terry Martin Wins by Technical Knock Out at 0:14 in the 1st round

Frank Edgar Wins by Unanimous Decision at 5:00 in the 3rd round

Anybody else excited about Machida??? I know I've talked about it in other threads, but I really love to watch the guy fight...

I really hope that is one of the undercards that they throw in...

does any1 think rampage is gonna loose i think he will
if he dont loose this fight then chuck is gonna knock him out very quickly
i dont like rampage he will loose either this fight or next fight

Rampage is 6'2 and Eastman is 5'8. Rampage lost to Eastman in his FIRST fight ever. Rampage lost his last 2 fights in Pride against 2 ELITE fighters. Rampage beat Chuck 31/2 years ago.....
I would say it IS A DISTINCT possibiliy that Rampage will win 2 fights and fight Chuck late this summer.
If I am right, and that fight happens, it will be Chucks first since Tito, and that rust is the only chance Rampage will have against Chuck this time around. Chuck in a CAGE is different than Chuck in a ring....Chuck would not have been trapped on the ground in a cage like the last time Rampage fought him. Chuck is a much better fighter now than he was then.

So...Rampage wins 2, fights Chuck, gets KO'd, waits for Chuck to retire, and fights Tito for the vacant belt....Is that a specific enough prediction...LOL

I hope Lyoto looks better vs Hoger than he did vs White.

I'm stoked to see Rampage back in action and in the UFC. I don't think it's possible he loses. It just wouldn't seem right. Herring being a huge letdown is enough.

Silva/Lutter might be an interesting style match up. There's no way Travis will just play along w/ Anderson's game like Rich and Leben did. I think he still gets KO'ed but probably not as quickly.

I'm physced about this one too. I didn't know much about Machida so I started checking out his past fights, and the dude really has skills. The bout with Rich Franklin really shows his stand up game. This should be a really good intro to the UFC for him Hoger can make for an exciting match-up.

I have a feeling that alot of the main bouts will be over in 1 round, so there is a good chance we could see several of the undercard fights

Looks like we might not have a title match after all. Lutter came in heavy, by 2 pounds granted. He still has a couple hours to lose the weight though. Any money someone is sitting in a sauna riding a bike right now ;).

I'm a huge Rampage-fan, so I wouldn't mind that happening.
Nevertheless, I have this nagging feeling that I will get a deja vu from the Herring-fight, and that he'll lose and somehow buckle under the pressure or whatever. Could just be that I'm paranoid, but I'm not as sure of this "sure win" as everybody else....

Yeah I think it is paranoia....Rampage has got something to prove, and a new lease on a new career...He wont let this get away....He owes Eastman anyway.

Thnx for the comforting words... sure hope you're right!
Don't think I can relax until the ref raises his hand though... still, I'm glad they didn't throw him to the top fighters right away. I'm not ripping on Eastman, there's a reason why I'm afraid of him, but he's not Chuck.

i think there is a good chance that it is gonna be a win for rampage but the fight wont be as lopsided as Cro Cop vs Eddie Sanchez.

How could anyone not like Rampage - dude is one of the most exciting fighters in the game with his throws/slams - and he already beat Chuck (granted it was a while ago) - after Rampage powerbombed Arona I find it hard not to like him - very few fights I've seen end on a slam

IMO Eastman has more of a shot than folks are giving him. I still love Rampage even if he loses and fails to re-capture his old fire. He's funny as hell and an entertaining person all the way around. I personally don't think he can beat Chuck twice again, but who knows? We'll find out in a matter of hours what he's got going on

Rampage should be able to beat beastman easily. eastman is a good fighter but not on rampages level and if rampage gets a few warm up fights i think he could beat chuck.

This card was great now its only good

Thanks for avoiding spoilers in case they show some prelims. From the looks of the card there will be some quick fights so I'm totally anticipating seeing like 2 earlier fights.

i don't know why people are booing the cote/smith fight i've seen fights a 100 times worse than that

Ya know...if I was one of the guys who busted their humps on TUF 4, I'd be pretty pissed that Lutter wasted the free, undeserved title shot over a few meesly hamburgers.
