Art Ross Trophy ( Most regular season points) - Evgeni Malkin (already won)

Hart Trophy (most valuable player) - Alex Ovechkin: His team won the South East again, and wouldn't have even been close if it wasn't for him. He was the most valuable player to his team by far.

Jack Adams Award (coach of the year) – Claude Julien: Boston likley won't make it far in the playoffs as they lack big game expierience. Julien has done the best job coaching though.

Selke Trophy (best defensive forward) – Pavel Datsyuk: You think of the types of goals this guy scores and his unreal playmaking ability, but the guy really knows how to play at both ends of the ice. Its pretty sick at how good he is.

Calder Trophy (best rookie) – Steve Mason: CBJ is in the playoffs cuz of this guy... Stamkos didn't have an outstanding year, but 23+23 = 46 is pretty decent for a 19 year old.

Norris Trophy (best defenseman) – Mike Green: Has had an awesome year and scored so many goals... solid on the blue line too.

Jennings Trophy (lowest team goals against average) – Boston

Lady Byng Trophy (most sportsmanlike player) – Pavel Datsyuk managed just 22 minutes in penalties and 97 points. How do you define gentlemanly play combined with high standard and not have this guy first? Sweep yet again for Det's ol no. 13.

Vezina Trophy (best goaltender) – Tim Thomas has just been exceptional this year, and has taken his Bruins to the number 1 seed where they will likley get bounced from. (hopefully anyways)

Rocket Richard Trophy (top goal scorer) – Alexander Ovechkin 56 Goals

President's Trophy (team with the most points) – San Jose

Prince of Wales Trophy (Eastern Conference Champion) – Jersey

Clarence S. Campbell Bowl (Western Conference Champion) – San Jose

Conn Smythe Trophy (playoff MVP) – So hard to predict this until after the 2nd Round... I'll go ahead and say Patty Marleau though

Stanley Cup – Sharks

1st Round Predictions:
Eastern Conference
Boston vs. Montreal - Montreal (since they're my team)
Washington vs. New York - Washington
New Jersey vs. Carolina - Jersey
Pittsburgh vs. Philadelphia - Pittsburgh

Western Conference:
San Jose vs. Anaheim - San Jose
Detroit vs. Columbus - Detroit
Vancouver vs. St. Louis - St. Louis (van is so much better, but I'm from here, so I'll go for St. Louis)
Chicago vs. Calgary - Calgary

Hart Trophy (most valuable player) - Alexander Ovechkin. I don't think any single player means more to their team then Ovechkin does to the Caps. Without him, they would be lost. Only the 3rd player to score 50 goals 3 times in the first 4 seasons of a career, along with Bossy and Gretzky(pretty big company, eh?)

Jack Adams Award (coach of the year) – Claude Julien. Took his team from 8th in the East to 1st, and pretty close to top in the league. Fantastic job by him to turn his team almost 180 degrees.

Selke Trophy (best defensive forward) – Pavel Datsyuk, plain and simple.

Calder Trophy (best rookie) – I think this will come down to Bobby Ryan, Kris Versteeg and Steve Mason. I think Mason takes this one though. Its not easy being a goalie, and Mason put up VERY impressive numbers, as a ROOKIE goalie on a team that wasn't doing too well.

Norris Trophy (best defenseman) – Despite Mike Green getting alot of consideration, I still think Chara and Lidstrom are better. Green had a fantastic season offensively, but I think Lidstrom will get the Norris once again as one of the most reliable and consistent defensemen, both offensively and defensively.

Lady Byng Trophy (most sportsmanlike player) – Pavel Datsyuk. What a nice guy...

Vezina Trophy (best goaltender) – Tim Thomas. He played behind a great team in Boston, but when the defense did break down, Thomas was always there to bail them out.

Prince of Wales Trophy (Eastern Conference Champion) – New York Rangers
Clarence S. Campbell Bowl (Western Conference Champion) – Detroit Red Wings
Conn Smythe Trophy (playoff MVP) – Pavel Datsyuk
Stanley Cup – Detroit Red Wings

1st Round Predictions:

Eastern Conference:

Boston vs. Montreal - Boston in 5
Washington vs. New York - New York in 7
New Jersey vs. Carolina - New Jersey in 6
Pittsburgh vs. Philadelphia - Philadelphia in 6

Western Conference:

San Jose vs. Anaheim - San Jose in 5
Detroit vs. Columbus - Detroit in 5
Vancouver vs. St. Louis - St. Louis in 7
Chicago vs. Calgary - Calgary in 6

Art Ross - Malkin

Hart - Ovy. He measn way to much to the Caps

Jack Adams - Julien

Selke - Daysyuk or Zettergerg

Norris - Chara. I'm season ticket holder for the Caps and Green still has a way to go defensively.

Calder Trophy - Should be Mason, but Renne in Nashiville needs consideration.

Vezina - Tim Thomas. Best GAA and SP.

Prince of Wales - I could be a homer, but I won't. Boston
Clarence Campbell - Red wings
Conn Smythe - Tim Thomas
Stanley Cup - Bruins

Boston vs. Montreal - Boston in 5. Better goaltending, better defense.
Washington vs. Rangers - Caps in 5. To much Ovy, Semin, Backstrom, Feds.
Devils vs. Hurricanes - Devils in 7. Might have 15 dgoals scored between
Pens vs. Flyers - Flyers in 7.
