I reeeeeeeeeeeeally hope we don't have a repeat of last year. Or hell, a repeat of the last 100 years for that matter.

Anyways...I says the Cubbies win it 4.

I voted for cubs in 3, because cubs pitching and offense are much better than the dodgers.

Cubs in 4 since they struggle a bit on the road. OK, and maybe I want more than 1 chance to hear Vin Scully call the first 3 innings on KABC-AM (via Gameday Audio).

Ive been a die hard cub fan for 12 years i live in louisville kentucky and have even made the trip to watch them play at wrigley. weve had so much bad luck in the last 99 years that it seemed like we would never win the whole thing, but this year seems different weve got a dangerous lineup all the way through, and our pitching is amazing, harden has made a huge difference in that staff, i think we take the series in 4, and I think we'll play the angels in the world series and I see us taking thewhole thing.

I'm a Dodger fan through and through. I really did not want to open against the Cubs, but I like are chances. I hope it is a good series. Dodgers in 5.

I should've known better. They fool me every f'ing year.

(By the way, I think it's funny how the votes for the Dodgers in the poll have increased just since last night. I guess the Dodger bandwagon is starting to load up, eh?)

Officiating had nothing to do with that God-awful performance.

no it was just cuz they played horribly. but there were some bad calls in the 9th. Fukudome's and ward's strike 3 wasnt a strike. and the foul ball they kept showin the replay of wasnt foul.

Not that I disagree with the statement...but are you saying Joe Torre won the series for them or are you giving him props for getting them to the playoffs?

If it's the former...I would disagree with you 100%.

If it's the ladder...I'd say it had more to do with Manny Ramirez and pitching than it had to do with coaching.

Well he is one of the best coaches ever, and my hats off to him because whatever he touches turns to gold. I hate the yankees, so dont think im a fan of Joe due to that. Im a Blue Jays fan, as sad as that is.

But lets face it he must be doing something right because Dodgers havent been here since 1988......so take it for what it is.
He knows how to get the best out of his players.
