I listened to it but you've got to laugh at some of the stuff he says!
He can't be serious can he?!

On Couture and Fedor Emelianenko:

Randy Couture, right now is the best fighter in the world. Fedor is a farce. He [just fought] "Long Duck Dong"...we'll just call him that. It's a joke. This guy hasn't beat anybody since 2005 and you know who was the last guy he beat in 2005? Mirko Cro Cop who just lost to two guy's that nobody's...you know.

Why do people fight in the UFC when they have a president like that? He insults Cro Cop which is a current UFC fighter and when Fedor beat him he was considered one of the best heavyweights in the world

No, no he's really not. He's just whining because he didn't get Fedor and Cro Cop isn't performing. Calling GG and Kongo nobodies is a little....well you know.

Fedor also crushed Dana's current heavyweight champ....twice. Dana pretty much dissed his entire heavyweight division.

To say that Gonzaga and Kongo are no big thing I wouldnt agree with. And true when Fedor beat Cro-Cop, CC was considered one of the best in the world. I would however have to agree with Dana in that Fedor hasent beaten anyone noteworthy in a long time. I would have to say Couture is the top heavyweight at the moment!

That's exactly what you are doing since they have beated CC man, calling them nobody and worse !!

Dana told what we were all thinking, CC was supposed to win these 2 fights but he got destroy, he don't have to protect him and GG and Kongo knew that they were not the favorite to win.

The last supposely top fighter that fedor have faced was CC and now we know what CC can do for real against good fighter but who were almost unknown to public, so they where nobody before they beat CC.

You can call GG and Kongo if you want, i don't think they are insulted .

Edit : i know CC did beat some good fighter 3 - 4 or 5 years ago, so no need to make me a list, i am as always talking about the present .

Well I'm not their boss. You make no sense and I hate debating with you, so i'm not going to. Dana's wrong for saying alot of what he says about his fighters and he should quit talking about Fedor since he doesn't want to give M-1 any publicity.

Well, when the reporter ask him the same question everywhere you go, he have to response the same ways all the time, it is almost exactly what he said some month ago and if he goes to a new place, the reporter will ask him the same question like always and he will answer probably the same thing, funny that even with a huge dispute against Couture he is still telling that he is the best in the world, he could have started to tell that now Nog is the best, witch would have been almost correct considering that Couture is technically retire !!

right on couldn't have said it any better. i think we all know dana needs to be taken with a grain of salt...he's a promoter. talking up game is his job.

to most of what your saying. I know dana is going over the top here to get a reaction but no one other than fedor could get away with his latest opponents and lack of action and still be considered #1HeavyWeight in the world and in many peoples eyes #1 pound for pound. Cro cop is not the same fighter he was five years ago. Im not convinced fedor is the same fighter he was when he beat cro cop and nog unless he starts to fight top class fighters again

Some of the things Dana says does nothing but hurt his image. To say Randy is the best fighter in the world is a stretch. Nog is above Randy if anything. Why as fans are we so quick to exscuse Dana for his antics, and say oh hes a promoter thats what they do. I dont want Dana to act like a promoter. Promoters killed boxing. Iwant Dana to act like the executive he is. The fan of the sport he is. The last thing i want Dana to act like is a guy like Gary Shaw who makes outlandish statements to get a reaction and cut fighters right before a fight and not even tell them about it. Dana is President of the largest MMA organazation on the planet. He is trying to grow this sport. He should be taking his cues from the commisioners of some of the major sports, not the likes of Gary Shaw and the promoters that killed boxing.

Dana your heavweight champion is Big Nog. Fedor beat your champion twice. Please stop speaking. Your an asshole, you insult your own fighters. Randy is not the best fighter in the world, he couldnt beat chuck liddell right now. Fedor would ruin him.

to say that couture is number one hw is ridiculous, even if he was still fighting. everyone says who has fedor fought in the last three years, but who has couture beat in the last three years? tim sylvia and gonzaga, thats not enough to make you the best.

Fighters don't care about rankings, but they all say Fedor is the best. period.

If you asked pretty much any HW who they are frightened of in their devision they would say Fedor!
Right now and for the next 1 or 2 years i'd say he's top of the pile unless someone amazing comes along!

How do we know he is the best now? If it was 4 years ago I would agree but now we have no proof to say he is the best and that has nothing to do with rankings. Think about it 3 years is a very long time in a fighters career to not fight any top level fighters. Things and people change a lot in 3 years. We know Nog has gotten better and CC has gotten worse. How do we know Fedor will do any better against top level guys than CC has. The point is we don't, To say he is the best is basically like saying Frank Shamrock is the best.
