in terms of actual submission, Cole's inverted triangle has to be the best. i understand that everyone is going to pick Silva's triangle because is was the biggest comeback in MMA history, but in terms of the actual submission you have to give it to cole...that inverted triangle/kimura has straight nasty

I completely agree with you, but under the circumstances Anderson's triangle was pretty ridiculous. I think there were a couple of d'arce and anaconda chokes pulled this year. I'm kind of surprised that none of them made the list.

I was the most amped after Lytle tapped Brown.

That was also a seriously awesome submission. There are some very good ones on this list. Pretty sure I said "That could be submission of the year" after a few of them.

Anytime you get to name a new submission I think you're names got to be in the running. I definitely enjoyed the "Wonderbar", that's for sure.

4 - Hughes over Almeida
5 - Cole Miller over D-Lau
6 - Palhares over Drwal
7 - Jim Miller over Oliveira
8 - Doerksen over Dolloway9 - Silva over Sonnen
10 - Lesnar over Carwin

The Philmura was great!! To bad for TB, I thought he had Phil in submission earlier in the fight.

Cole's triangle and the "Mr. Wonderful," were amazing.

Coles triangle was very very good. But I really liked seeing Miller kneebar Oliveria , the very hyped BJJ freight train.
