The latest MMAWeekly World MMA Rankings were released on Wednesday, October 24. This system ranks the top ten MMA fighters from all across the world in each of the six largest weight classes, as voted on by MMAWeekly.

We take into consideration a fighter's performance in addition to his win-loss record, head-to-head and common opponents, difficulty of opponents, and numerous other factors in what is the most comprehensive rankings system in the sport.

As always, fighters who are currently serving drug-related suspensions are not eligible for top ten consideration.

Here are the current MMAWeekly World MMA Rankings, which are up-to-date as of October 24.

Their rankings are so conflicting.

They can have Matt Serra at the top after one big win, but when Shogun, and Liddell lose, The two people who beat them don't get the same respect.

I AGREE 100%!!!

I kind of agree with the HW, MW, and WW division 100% because GSP beat Serra so they have no choice not to put Serra #1 if GSP is #2...

But Why the hell is Liddell still even considered top 10? Why is Shogun still #2?

LHW should look like..

1. Rampage
2. Dan Henderson
3. Wandy
4. Jardine
5. Forrest

6-10 is disputed but NO WAY Chuck liddel is even CONSIDERED Top 5. IMO 6-10 Whoops em' like Rampage did!!!!!

BS!!!! Chuck Liddell is so OVERRATED it's not even funny anymore. He's one dimensional and providing a lucky punch he is losing the rest of his fights verse any top 10....

These rankings are ridiculous...wheres nick diaz....why are weak ass WEC fighters in the rankings they would get washed by everyone in the UFC and what the hell is up with the Light Heavy division Forrest Griffin at 9??? he just Tapped Out one of the best pound for pound in the world and the Heavyweight division is a joke too Randy below Big Nog is ridiculous and half those dudes haven't fought in months....As you can tell i strongly disagree with the rankings.

bj should be top three on two lists. but yet again, he's vacant from either. and don't use the time off excuse, because when's the last time fedor or barnett fought?

What about Houston, who beat jardine completely fairly.

well if we were doing MMA Math then He would be #1..

but I think Jardine took him lightly and I still don't knwo if hes the real deal sinc ehe hasn't been taken to the ground and had his ground game tested to the fullest yet...

but for me he's 6 or 7..

Penn doesn't have any big wins over topped ranked guys since 2004. If he doesn't fight or beat these guys how can you rank him there. Once he beats anyone on there then you can bitch about that.

It's been nine months or so since Fedor fought a heavyweight, same with Barnett and they fought top level competition (Hunt is a badass and could be a threat to anyone who is ranked in the heavyweight divison).

The only heavyweight I see out of place is Gonzaga. Why would he be ahead of Arlovski?

God knows what they are thinking about when they put the LHW rankings together.

No way Gomi should be number one, no matter what the NSAC thinks he was still gogoplated by Diaz.

This is the worst rankings I have ever seen, way to suck MMAweekly.

Urijiah Faber @ #4...That seems way too low for a champion who has rolled over everybody in the division. I would say at least 1 or 2 in the division.

So one win boost you to the top(according to you guys) and dominating the #1 and many other top 10's means nothing if you lose? Thats moronic.

I know Fedor has dominated #1 for a long time but he signed with a place that like you said in another thread Cmillz will die in a year. He wont be fighting any top 10 fighters for awhile except maybe Barnettt...So he gone form mine...FOR NOW...hes still the best fighter of all time to me but if you had to rank him in the top 10 for NOW, then he wouldnt be in it...

Umm no no I didn't. It's not like M-1 just started they've been around for a loooong time. They're not going to just die, especially when they just got a big financial boost and they're going to get a bunch of talent including that #1 Hw. I don't see anything wrong with these rankings besides Randy being on it.

My bad I read the first sentence you said and missed the part were you were being sarcastic about M-1 dying...

But You agree with the LHW ones???????? NO WAY!!!! People at the way bottom should be at the top!

I think Jardine should be higher if anyone is. I don't think forrest deserves to be any higher, good fight against shogun is all well and good but I really don't see him beating a shogun that doesn't gas. I do agree he should be in the top 10 now though.
