I was hoping to start this earlier this week, but I figured if I start it on fight night, it will probably get more traction. The rules for the contest are:
1) You must use part or all of the photograph below
2) Your submission must not be larger than 1024x768 pixels
3) Your submission must be in either .jpg or .gif(no animations) format
4) Your submission must not violate any site rules
5) You must submit the photo via the instructions below to enter
6) Any entries posted in the thread below will automatically be disqualified
7) The cutoff for submissions this Friday, August 19th at 11:59pm ET
Since this is the first contest, I really have no idea how many people will ultimately participate. That being the case, you will be allowed to enter 2 submissions, if you wish...only 1 is required for participation though. If there are less than 10 entries, all 2nd entries will be included as well. If you do decide to enter 2 pictures, please let me know which is the primary submission when you submit them to me.
How to submit your entries
When you wish to submit your entry, please send it via PM to me. You can either attach the picture or link it via any variety of photo hosting sites (i.e. Photobucket). If you attach the photo, you will be limited to 100k per picture, per site limitations. Please have a meaningful subject line when you submit the picture to me...as much as you don't want me stealing your idea, trust me that I don't want any outside influences while I come up with my own. I will not be looking at the pictures prior to the cutoff, but you can always wait til the last day to PM if you don't trust that...just don't forget and miss the deadline.
Feel free to subscribe to this thread and if there are any important updates, I'll post them here. If I remember, I'll also bump the thread when the cutoff is nearing.

Yep...just as I figured...I'm not gonna be able to find time to do this. If I had Photoshop at work I would definitely be able to but my evenings are pretty much jam packed every night.
