yep

Davis was once on the brink of becoming the #1 ranked super middleweight in New England before losing to Ed Bryant. After said fight with Bryant he retired from boxing in October of 2000 and joined MFS soon after. now he is looking to make his mark on MMA

also...if you consider Butterbean a mixed martial artist then his record of 77-7-4 would most likely be up there. Ray Mercer isn't a mixed martial artist to me and neither is Tommy Morrison so no point in even saying their records.

most of the information is in the thread Basshandsome provided

I believe it would be Jan "The Giant" Nortje in terms of best record.

He's (as far as I know), the only MMA fighter to have at least 10 boxing wins without a defeat.

Of course, Davis at 17-1-2 and Lytle at 13-1 have excellent records as well.

Wow, I think my optometrist is lying when he tells me I have 20-20 vision. Lol.

Anyway, i'll add Jeremy Williams (Half man half amazing) into the mix 48-5 career boxing record. He fought on the same card as Baroni vs. Hose.

as far as legitimate boxers turned legitimate MMA fighters i'd have to go with Jeremy Williams (not the IFL fighter that passed away last year).

Talking about boxers in the MMA, I hope that Mayweather doesn't go into MMA like those rumors a while back, he is doing too well to go off to UFC and ruin his undefeated record in boxing by being unexperienced on the ground and getting subbed Stick to boxing Floyd
