All good points Grapler. I think we pretty much agree except I think Goldberg is more educated than he lets on (i don't know maybe he gets caught up in the cheezy commentator role).

i think tito would also make a good commentator, as well someone before mentioned heath herring. he's a funny guy if you ever see him in his pre fight interviews with bas rutten in pride

Goldy could definitely try to further his MMA knowledge, but i enjoy the random trivia (he does need to pick his timing better for it though) it fills the silence. And yeah i laugh every time when he stands 2in from joe, makes a double chin and stares intently at him before the show starts
cant believe i didn't think of Tito, he did well commentating some of the earlier UFC's and at the TUF3 finale he offered a lot of useful info. If that's something he's interested in he could be great, although i doubt he'd be commentating in the UFC any time soon.

Anyone to replace Mike Goldberg... i cant stand his voice and his stupid quote " Its all OVER!!!" He says it everytime... i guess Rogan always says "WOW" or "UNBELIEVABLE".. but at least rogan knows mma....

haha yeah rogan would be the first to go if they started drug testing. i remember he sent out a bulletin on myspace saying that they should allow people to smoke weed at those events instead of drinking and that way it would stop alot of the booing by newer mma fans
