I know there was a topic about this already, but couldn't find it...Wrestling Observer reports that Leland Chapman, Dog The Bounty Hunter's son, who was to make his MMA debut this weekend, now won't be. Why is kinda funny...

Here's a funny one. Leland Chapman, The son of Dog the Bounty Hunter, who has been fighting MMA, has been pulled from fighting on the Saturday night card at the Cow Palace. He will still be appearing. How is this for a unique reason. The station that carries his father's show (the cable network A&E) doesn't want him fighting on a high profile show for fear that if he loses, it'll reflect negatively on the show and he's not allowed to fight. Also not on the card even though their names have been advertised are Jeff Monson, Nick Diaz, Mia St. John and Javier Vazquez, or basically every major name on the show. The main matches include Vince Lucero vs. Cain Velasquez (former NCAA All-American heavyweight and a major prospect), Ruben Villareal vs Brad Imes (Ultimate fighter), and Gabe Rivas (IFL) vs Gabe Ruediger (the infamous Ultimate Fighter contestant from last season).

Smells like equal parts Vince Russo and Antonio Inoki booking.
