no. since a fighter would have to win like 5-6 fights to win the tournament, you'd either have to make the fights really short, or risk serious injury to the fighters for having to fight so many times.
Excellent point. The Olympics are, what, 2 weeks? 3 weeks? If you could somehow arrange the tournament so that a fighter "only" had to fight 3 times to win the Gold/Silver, that would still be a lot.
Does anyone know how Olympic boxing works? How many fights does a guy have to win to get the Gold medal?
