mirco is not dead, he still can be very good in ufc.

look at couture, the guy was beated 2 time against liddell, and after sometime of retirement, he is now one of the best fighter in ufc , with a new state of mind and a new training system.

mirco is a gifted fighter, he only have to adjust to the 2007 fighting intensity and training method.

Cro Cop needs to focus and get his old "drive" back.
You can see a changed look in his eyes...it's not the same confident "focused" look.

He's still confident, but when the guys talking about retirement and being with his family, and going back to Luko you know he's not 100% focused. He's had this for a very long time, and I would understand why it would bother him more as he gets a bit older. All in all i'm glad he's getting his injuries taken care of, and hopfully this will help his mental aspect as well.

I can see taking a year off like Wanderlei would be useful for Cro Cop

I agree with the vacation....too many high profile fights seem to mess a guy up. Rand is a prime example of what a good vacation can do. Hopefully Wandy is another. Just don't go too long or you could end up like Tito.

Crocop has the skills to be a champion. He just needs to get his mind back in the game. His ground game was actual looking decent against Kongo.I loved when he pushed him up against the fence. That was awesome.

But a fighter has to have the heart to keep going.Despite what some people might say,I think that's what makes me love guys like Mark Coleman and Randy Couture.Coleman doesn't have the greatest record in MMA,but he fought everyone they sent his way.He fought Nog,Fedor, won the Grand Prix, was UFC champion, beat a very dangerous Shogun(even if you consider it a lucky win, luck is a major factor in a fight when 2 fighers are at a high skill level). He did most of this when everyone said he was finished.

I wouldn't count CC out just yet.If he gets his motivation back and is ready to kick ass he will deystroy everyone in the heavyweight division. That's up to him though. Here's hoping Mirko gets his fighting spirit back.
